Putten Seter is a traditional mountain lodge located at Høvringen in the beautiful Rondane, with spectacular views of Jotunheimen. It has welcomed tourists for almost one hundred years, and is proud to continue the traditions of hearty home-cooked food and quality accommodation.
Putten Seter offers rooms, cabins, or apartments for self-catering. On the doorstep are excellent hiking opportunities with way-marked routes in summer and cross-country ski trails in winter – the ideal location for recreational outdoor enthusiasts as well as the more seasoned mountaineer.
We serve traditional home-cooked food based on local produce from Gudbrandsdalen. During winter our mountain café is a popular destination for skiers in Rondane, and offers homemade hot chocolate with cream and freshly made crisp waffles. During summer, our sour-cream porridge with cured meats and our waffles are popular with our guests.
