Bonden Sylte offers meat products from free-roaming pigs and Boer goats at the farm Myrvoll in Kvitfjell in Gudbrandsdalen.

The farm is owned and run by Gunhild and Ole Asmund Sylte. Our vision is to produce food on nature’s own terms, something we believe benefits the health of people as well as animals. We offer local gourmet pork and Boer goat meat of a natural high quality for those who value unique products. Meats purchased from us come straight from our farm to your table. We draw on extensive professional expertise and experience in agriculture and health, and focus on quality at every level.

High-quality meat has plenty of flavour, and is marbled, succulent, and tender. This is achieved by allowing the pigs to roam outdoors where they use their muscles and natural instincts. Our pigs are entitled to a life in freedom with minimal stress and high welfare standards. They get to dig in the soil, roll in the mud, and eat grass, roots, and insects. 

The Boer goats spend most of the year outdoors where they use their natural instincts such as climbing in the mountain, jumping around, and eating herbs, twigs, and grass. They use their muscles to climb the steep hillsides up towards Kvitfjell’s alpine runs, and do not give up until they reach the top.
