Nermo Hotel is a family operated hotel with long traditions. For nearly 150 years travellers has visited us. It is run by fifth-generation owner, Johannes Nermo, is situated within easy reach of Hafjell alpine centre, and has its own golf and mini-golf course.

Nermo Hotell was originally a manor farm, and often had visitors. Some were hungry and thirsty and were looking for food and a comfortable bed. Others came down from the mountain with a catch of grouse, trout, or elk. Grain and potatoes were grown at the farm, and mushrooms and berries were gathered in the forest. We are thus used to make food from scratch and utilise ingredients available nearby. We serve elk from our own backyard and make our own stock. Nermo Hotell is renowned for its excellent kitchen. We make our own ham from happy pigs that spend the whole summer outdoors up in the mountains. Norwegian home-cooked food based on local produce is served all year round. We are famous for our elk fricadellen and our apple cake, often served with a bottle of beer brewed locally.

With its 31 unique rooms, 2 “Drengestuer”, 53 holiday apartments, Scandinavia’s only 18-hole putting course, and close to the slopes of Hafjell and the city of Lillehammer, Nermo is a good place to be.
