Pellestova Hotel sits at the very top of Hafjell, in the high mountain. It has welcomed guests ever since 1946 when Pelle Skalmstad (1919-1990) moved the old disused pigsty at his farm in Øyer to the best spot he could find at Hundersetra in Øyerfjellet. 

Food is important at Pellestova Hotel, and we strive to serve high-quality meals based on local ingredients.  Our chefs combine Norwegian traditional food with international trends and playful creativity. We would like the food in our restaurant to be more than just a meal – we would like it to be an experience. Our wine list has over 300 labels, and our waiting staff are happy to assist with finding a wine perfect for your meal. On weekdays, we offer 3-course menus with a choice of meat or fish as a main course. At weekends, an extensive á la carte menu is available.

In addition its spectacular views of Øyerfjellet, Pellestova offers fantastic hiking and cross-country skiing opportunities right on its doorstep. The hotel has 40 rooms, of which 12 are mountain suites with private sauna.
